erin mataj - person behind the creativity

A long, long time ago...

Ha! Just kidding!
My goal for my client is simple, as I am a pretty simple person. I would like to do the best I can by adding my own creativity while representing the company, wether it be via a website, business card, logo, flyer, or product illustration.

I can now say that I am pretty confident in my CSS and HTML coding skills along with jQuery and Javascript of course. I do know there is always tons more to learn; and that is why I am commited and passionate about continual education in my field, which is constantly imporving everyday. I think the only way to learn more is to keep working hard and pushing ideas. I enjoy typography and I enjoy adding my previous visual design experience to a more technological field…paint and canvas no more! Yes, I am a classiclly trained artist and studied in the home of Renaissance Art, Florence, Italy.

There is loads to tell about myself as of late, but the newest change in my life has been the addition of a new Mataj family member. I had a boy in July, smack in the middle of a hot Vegas summer and school. I will now be out-numbered in my household, three Albanian boys against the American Mama…I'm thinking of getting a female dog to even it out. Ha!

We speak three different languages in our home. English, Albanian and Italian, my husband speaks several dialects of Spanish and French also…but he's just a show off.
